Senior goaltender Natalie Stott backstopped the Mammoths to a NESCAC Championship in March as she earned First Team All-America honors and concluded her career with three NCAA Division III records.
Over five games in March, Stott allowed only four goals and posted three shutouts, including back-to-back shutouts in less than 24 hours in the semifinal and final of the NESCAC Championship, a performance that earned her NESCAC Player of the Week honors. She also blanked UCHC champion Elmira in the NCAA quarterfinals in her final game at Orr Rink.
Stott ends her career with a .960 save percentage, the best career save percentage in college hockey history across all divisions for both women and men. Stott’s first win of the month was the 83rd of her career, breaking the DIII career record before finishing her career with 86 wins. She broke the DIII record for career shutouts in December and finished her career with 45 clean sheets.
A double major in economics and psychology, Stott became only the third four-time First Team All-American in history. She is also a four-time All-NESCAC honoree and three-time member of the NESCAC All-Academic Team.
