Senior goalkeeper Max Landa recorded a shutout in the national championship game to help the Mammoths lift the NCAA Division III Championship trophy in December.
Landa made one save to earn the win in the semifinal against Middlebury, then stopped all three shots he faced over 110 minutes in the double-overtime national championship game against Connecticut College. When the final went to a penalty shootout, Landa stopped three shots to help lead the Mammoths to victory.
Hailing from La Crescenta, California, Landa graduated in December with a degree in biology. He concluded his career with a 0.70 goals-against average, a .756 save percentage and a 20-3-5 record, including 10 shutouts. Landa was honored with a spot on the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team this fall.
