Senior goaltender Natalie Stott did not allow a goal in either of the Mammoths’ two games in December, posting back-to-back shutouts to set a new Division III record.
Stott made 15 saves in a 3-0 win at Curry and stopped all 10 shots she faced in a 6-0 win over UMass Boston to break the NCAA Division III record with her 36th career shutout. The Franklin native entered January with a miniscule 0.56 goals-against average and a stellar .971 save percentage, allowing only four goals in seven games this season.
A double major in economics and psychology, Stott is a three-time All-American and three-time All-NESCAC First Team selection who has backstopped the Mammoths to two NESCAC championships. Stott earned Amherst’s Gordon B. Perry Memorial Award in 2023 for a first-year whose participation and attitude in first-year athletics and other activities is outstanding, and was a recipient of the Samuel Walley Brown Scholarship in 2025, awarded to juniors who, in the estimation of the Trustees, rank highest in character, class leadership, scholarship and athletic ability.
