Junior Paari Kaviyarasu earned medalist honors while leading the Mammoths to an undefeated month of April that culminated in Amherst's first NESCAC championship since 1997.

At the conference championship, Kaviyarasu shot 4-over par across the 54-hole tournament to win the individual conference title by five strokes while helping the Mammoths win the team title by three strokes over Trinity.

The conference championship capped a perfect month for the Mammoths, who won all four events they played in April. Kaviyarasu finished second at the Bantams/Hawks Invitational as the Mammoths won the tournament by eight strokes and tied for sixth at Skidmore's Brown Invitational as the Mammoths won that tournament by 11 strokes. The Mammoths also won the Little Three Championship as Kaviyarasu teamed with John Beskid to win their alternate shot foursomes matches against both Williams and Wesleyan.

A mathematics major from Worthington, Ohio, Kaviyarasu has posted four top-10 finishes this season. The Mammoths improved their national ranking in the Clippd rankings from 66th to 34th over the month of April.
