Senior Amy Cui won the New England Women's Tennis Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament (NEWITT) title alongside teammates Katie Hart and Tina She.

The three-woman team carried on Amherst's success in the tournament after Deliala Charles Friedman and Lily Dounchis captured the title last year. Cui was a dominant presence, going undefeated in all three of her singles matches and securing two of three doubles matches with Hart.

A neuroscience major from East Brunswick, New Jersey, Cui has been named Academic All-District twice and earned All-NESCAC and All-Sportsmanship honors from the NESCAC last spring. Cui concluded last season ranked 27th in the nation in singles and her contributions were instrumental in the Mammoths' team ranking of ninth in Division III.
