Junior infielder Ryan McIntyre hit .333 with 19 runs batted in and 9 extra-base hits to help the Mammoths to a 9-4 record over the month of March to open the season.
McIntyre started all 13 games in March, tallying three doubles, four triples and two home runs to post a slugging percentage of .617, while also stealing eight bases. His month was highlighted by walk-off hits on back-to-back days, hitting a three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning against Framingham State on March 21 and delivering a walk-off double in a tie game against Worcester State on March 22. McIntyre was named NESCAC Player of the Week on March 25 for his efforts.
A double major in economics and history from Larchmont, New York, McIntyre is a two-time All-NESCAC and two-time All-Region selection, as well as a NESCAC All-Academic honoree.
