First-year Emma Ramsingh won the NESCAC title in the discus in her conference championship debut, helping the Mammoths to a runner-up finish at the NESCAC Championships.

Ramsingh won the discus at the NESCAC Championships with a school-record throw of 45.43m, a mark that ranks among the top 10 in Division III this season. Her NESCAC Championship throw marked the second time in April that the Pompano Beach, Florida, native broke the Amherst discus record after previously setting the mark at 43.38m at the Amherst Spring Fling.

Ramsingh's win at NESCACs was the first of her collegiate career after six top-three finishes between the indoor and outdoor seasons in the discus, shot put and weight throw.
