Senior wide receiver Carter Jung scored four touchdowns in October, helping the Mammoths to a pair of road wins.
Jung caught eight passes and racked up a pair of touchdowns and a career-high 181 receiving yards, plus 71 return yards, in a 34-7 win at Bowdoin on Oct. 11. He scored two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving, at Wesleyan on Oct. 25. Over four games in October, Jung recorded 309 receiving yards, as well as 100 kick return yards on just three attempts.
The Menlo Park, California, native entered the final week of the season ranked fourth in the NESCAC in receiving yards, averaging 79.1 yards per game this season, and fifth in all-purpose yards, averaging 104.6 yards per game when factoring in rushing and return yardage. His seven receiving touchdowns this season rank second in the league and his average of 24.6 yards per kick return is also second in the NESCAC.
Jung earned All-NESCAC honors last season on special teams for his output on kick returns. An economics major, Jung has received NESCAC All-Academic and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
