Junior middle distance runner Ben Davis won three events including a New England Division III Championship in February, posting some of the best results in the nation.
Davis opened the month by winning the 600m at the Tufts Cupid Challenge in 1:20.30, which was the ninth-fastest time in NCAA Division III history and the fastest flat-track time in Division III this season. At the Boston University Hemery Valentine Invitational, Davis ran the 800m in a personal-best 1:51.08, a time that ranks in the top 15 in Division III this season.
After winning the 400m at the Springfield Triangle Classic in a personal-best time of 50.47 seconds, Davis capped his standout month by winning the New England Division III Championship in the 600m in a personal-best time of 1:18.91, the third-fastest time in Division III history and fastest this season.
A neuroscience major from New York, Davis has tallied four career All-NESCAC finishes. He previously won the NEICAAA indoor championship in the 800m, as well as two NED3 indoor championships and one NESCAC championship in the 4x800m relay.
