Sophomore defender Ella Johnson was a key part of a back line that allowed only one goal in seven games as the Mammoths went a perfect 7-0 in October.

The Mammoths posted shutouts in the final six games of the regular season and allowed only 55 shots and 22 shots on goal all month, both the fewest allowed in the NESCAC.

A sexuality, women's and gender studies major from Seattle, Johnson played the full 90 minutes in four of the seven games. She also recorded assists in back-to-back games against Rhode Island College on Oct. 14 and against VTSU Castleton on Oct. 15.

The defending NESCAC champion Mammoths entered November ranked fourth in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches Division III poll and finished the regular season atop the NESCAC standings for the third year in a row.
