Sophomore Jessica Huang finished tied for fourth place at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships, helping the NESCAC champion Mammoths to an eighth-place finish as a team.
Huang, a two-time All-American who was named NESCAC Co-Golfer of the Year this season, shot a three-round total score of 229 (+10) at the national championships, including an even-par round of 73 in the second round, one of only six rounds in the tournament at even-par or better.
A mathematics major from Auckland, New Zealand, Huang's fourth-place finish matched Amherst's best ever at the NCAA Championships and helped the Mammoths to their third top-10 finish as a team.
