First-year Gabe Yu reeled off a perfect record in January, going 11-0 on the squash courts for the Mammoths.
Playing mostly at the ninth position on the ladder, Yu lost only four games in 11 matches while winning 33 games. His month included several dominant wins, including an 11-5, 11-1, 11-1 win against Franklin & Marshall on Jan. 6 and an 11-4, 11-4, 11-1 win against Navy the next day,
Hailing from Hong Kong, Yu helped the Mammoths to an 8-3 record in January as the team improved its national ranking from 18th to 16th. Yu had only played one collegiate match before the new year, making his overall collegiate record 11-1.
