Junior Carolina Andrade won the NESCAC Championship in the javelin throw, breaking her own school record in the process.

Andrade unleashed a throw that sailed 40.52m to top the field at the NESCAC Championship on April 29 and break her own school record of 38.42m that she set in 2021. As of the end of April, Andrade's mark ranked 18th nationally in Division III this season and was the top mark in the Mideast Region.

A biology major from Novato, California, and a selection to the NESCAC All-Academic Team, Andrade previously earned All-NESCAC honors in 2021 before capturing her first conference championship this season.
