Junior middle distance runner Parker Boyle earned First Team All-America honors and helped the Mammoths capture the New England Division III Championship to conclude the indoor track and field season in March.
Boyle began the month by winning the NED3 championship in the 1000m for the second time in his career. Clocking in at 2:24.73, he broke the meet record that had stood since 2017 and the Amherst school record that had stood since 2012. Boyle’s win helped the Mammoths repeat as team champions at the New England Division III Indoor Championships.
Less than two weeks later, Boyle anchored the distance medley relay at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, teaming with seniors Will Nagy, Cody Pierce and Ben Davis to finish as national runners-up in the event, earning the quartet First Team All-America honors with a school-record time of 9:45.74.
A mathematics major from Hong Kong, Boyle is now a three-time All-American and five-time All-New England finisher. He has also earned eight career All-Region accolades and two All-NESCAC finishes.
