Sophomore Mohammed Nuhu has been a powerhouse for the Mammoths this October, showcasing his skills as a dynamic forward and a clutch performer. The Accra, Ghana, native has made an impressive impact, notching seven goals and four assists as the Mammoths stormed through October with a 6-1 record. Nuhu delivered game-winning goals in victories over Manhattanville, Bowdoin and Trinity, asserting himself as a consistent game-changer of the two-time reigning NESCAC champions.
Nuhu finished October leading the league with four game-winning goals and tied for the scoring lead with 22 points. His offensive prowess has been crucial for the Mammoths, who ended October ranked fourth in the nation in the Division III NCAA Power Index, which will be used for NCAA Tournament selection.
Last season, Nuhu made an immediate impact, earning NESCAC Rookie of the Year honors, First Team All-NESCAC accolades and a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team.
