First-year Andreas Sillaste wrapped up a sensational rookie season by winning two matches at the NCAA Division III Tennis Championships to reach the singles quarterfinals and earn All-America honors.

In the individual singles bracket, Sillaste upset sixth-seeded Caleb Wilkins of Chapman in the round of 32 and defeated Eli Mizerski of George Fox in the round of 16, becoming the only first-year to reach the quarterfinals of this year's singles tournament.

Sillaste's run at nationals capped a rookie season in which he went 16-9 in singles play to earn Division III Rookie of the Year honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and All-NESCAC First Team honors in both singles and doubles. Hailing from Oulu, Finland, Sillaste ranked 15th in the nation in the final ITA singles rankings and 18th in the nation in the final doubles rankings alongside partner Kobe Ellenbogen.
