First-year Jordan Harrison won the NESCAC Championship in the 100m dash and etched his name in the Amherst record books in two events as part of a remarkable debut season on the outdoor track.

In his first collegiate start in the 100m dash at the Black & Gold Invitational on April 1, Harrison matched the school record in the event with a time of 10.79 seconds.

At the Amherst Spring Fling on April 8, Harrison anchored the 4x100m relay team that set a new school record by circling the track in 42.23 seconds.

Later in the month, the Solon, Ohio, native once again matched the school-record time of 10.79 seconds in the 100m dash and won the event at the Coffey Invitational on April 15.

The month culminated at the NESCAC Championships on April 29, where Harrison won the 100m dash, finished third in the 200m dash and once again anchored the 4x100m relay team to another school record of 41.55 seconds, earning All-NESCAC honors in all three events.
