First-year goaltender Natalie Stott backstopped the Mammoths to a perfect month of January, recording four shutouts as the Mammoths went 10-0-0 to open the new year.
Stott allowed only 8 goals in 10 games over the month of January, recording shutouts against 15th-ranked Oswego State on Jan. 3, 14th-ranked Connecticut College on Jan. 13, 8th-ranked Norwich on Jan. 17 and Wesleyan on Jan. 20.
As of the end of January, Stott was tied for the national lead in Division III with seven shutouts this season and her 17 wins this season were the most of any goalie in the nation.
The Mammoths concluded January on a program-record 17-game winning streak, the longest winning streak in the country. The Mammoths entered February ranked first in the nation in the PairWise rankings, which are used to select teams to the NCAA Tournament.
