Sophomore Jaden Olson won two individual races and was part of two winning relay teams to help the Mammoths win both of their meets over the month of December.

Olson won the 100-yard backstroke and the 100-yard butterfly to help the Mammoths to a dual meet win over Middlebury on Dec. 3, then finished second in the 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard backstroke in a win at Union on Dec. 31. The versatile sophomore also competed on Amherst's winning 200-yard medley relay team in both meets, swimming a different stroke in each meet.

A Chicago native in his first season with the Mammoths after transferring from Penn, Olson has finished first or second in every race he has entered this season with six first-place finishes in eight races while also swimming on the winning 200 medley relay team in all four meets this season, helping the Mammoths to a 4-0 start to the dual meet campaign.
