Mammoths Set To Open 2026 Season at Home vs. Bates

E.J. Mils returns for his 29th season at the helm of the Mammoths' football program.

Amherst football opens the 2026 season at home on Pratt Field at Lehrman Stadium to take on Bates at 1 p.m. The Mammoths finished the 2025 season 5-4 with a win over Williams in the final week of the season.

E.J. Mills (158-74, .681) enters his 29th season as the head coach. Quarterback Marek Hill returns after throwing for 2,051 yards and 11 TDs in 2025. All-NESCAC First Team performers Miles Roberts (OL) and Tylik Sims (DB) are back along with 2nd Teamers Christian Moore (WR) and Carson Skotak (LB).

The Mammoths have a 20-member senior class in 2026.
