IRVING, Texas -- The National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Football Hall of Fame announced the members of the 2026 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which includes college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better throughout their college careers. Fourteen student-athletes from the Amherst College football team were inducted in 2026.

A total of 2,596 players from 365 schools qualified for membership in 2026, setting a record for the total number of members during the program's 20-year history. Since its inception, the initiative has honored 23,568 student-athletes. This year's members represented six divisions: 853 from the FBS, 497 from the FCS, 267 from Division II, 876 from Division III, 68 from the NAIA, and 35 Sprint football players.
