HADLEY, MA. – Senior defensive lineman Kemit Fisher (Laurel, MD) was named 2025 NESCAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year and was one of eight members of the Amherst College football team accorded All-NESCAC honors, it was announced by the conference today.

Junior offensive lineman Miles Roberts (Baltimore, MD) was selected to the First Team Offense, and senior linebacker Luke Harmon (Chevy Chase, MD), junior defensive back Tylik Sims (Steubenville, OH) and Fisher were named to the First Team Defense. Senior receivers Carter Jung (Menlo Park, CA) and Christian Moore (Renton, WA) and offensive lineman Alec Treadway (Wilmington, DE) were given Second Team Offense nods, while junior linebacker Carson Skotak was a Second Team Defense selection.

Fisher burst onto the scene in 2025, recording 21 tackles (8 solo, 13 assists), including 3 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss, in addition to 3 QB hurries. His breakout game came on Oct. 25 against Wesleyan, where he notched 4 total tackles, including a crucial sack on Wesleyan's first drive of the day to force a punt. The senior earned his first All-NESCAC honors with his Co-Defensive Player of the Year and First Team Defense awards.

Harmon wrapped up an accolade-filled career with another First Team Defensive selection in 2025. The senior did it all making 67 total tackles (41 solo, 26 assists), including 12.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks, while also recording 1 interception, 2 pass breakups and 2 forced fumbles on the year. This year's All-NESCAC award was the linebacker's third in as many years.

Sims stepped up in a big way in his junior season, earning his first All-NESCAC honors with a First Team nod. He made his mark shutting down opposing receivers, recording 35 total tackles, including 3 tackles for loss and two interceptions, both in the final two games of the year.

Roberts was a key component piece of an offensive line that led the NESCAC in sacks allowed, giving up only 7 total in 9 games on the year. One of the unsung heroes of that effort, the junior was rewarded with his first All-NESCAC honor.

Fellow offensive lineman Treadway anchored that unit as well, helping the Mammoths to 326.8 yards per game and almost 3000 total yards offensively on his way to his first conference honor with a Second Team selection.

Jung followed up his all-conference special teams honors in 2024 with a Second Team Offense accolade this year. The junior earned his place after racking up 54 receptions for 714 yards and seven scores, in addition to 1 rushing touchdown. He also made an impact on special teams, returning 8 kicks for 197 yards.

Fellow receiver Moore was the just as impactful, notching 44 catches for 428 yards and 1 touchdown on the year. The junior solidified his first selection to the Second Team Offense with a stellar performance against Colby on Oct. 18, going off for 114 yards and a touchdown on 10 catches against the Mules.

Skotak was the Mammoths' lone member of the Second Team Defense after putting up 79 total tackles, including 37 solo and 8 tackles for loss, as well as 3 pass breakups and 2 fumble recoveries in 9 games. He wrapped up his first all-conference honor by recording 3 games of 10-plus tackles this season.

The Mammoths finished the 2025 season with a 5-4 overall record, including a win against Williams at home to finish the year above .500 for the first time since 2021
