AMHERST, MA. – Eight Mammoths were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization earlier today. Senior receiver Keith Delaney (Knoxville, TN), junior defensive lineman Jackson Duncan (Wilton, CT), senior linebacker Luke Harmon (Chevy Chase, MD), senior receiver Carter Jung (Menlo Park, CA), junior receiver Christian Moore (Renton, WA) junior offensive lineman Miles Roberts (Baltimore, MD), junior linebacker Carson Skotak (Houston, TX), and junior offensive lineman Zachary Walker (Ware, MA) were selected.

Formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors of America (COSIDA), the CSC divides the NCAA institutions into nine geographic districts, with Amherst in District 1. To earn Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's contests -- or started in 65 percent of them – during the recently completed season and have maintained at least a 3.5 undergraduate cumulative GPA.

Delaney, a LJST and Psychology double major, put in his best season to date in his senior season, racking up 31 catches for 288 yards and a touchdown while playing in every game in 2025. He finished his career with 46 catches for 411 yards and a touchdown in 46 games. This was his first Academic All-District selection.

Duncan, an Economics major, earned his first Academic All-District honor after a productive season on the Mammoths' defensive line, recording 41 tackles total (10 solo, 31 assists). That number included 7 tackles for loss for 30 yards as well as 3.5 sacks and 3 QB hurries while anchoring the interior.

Harmon, a LJST major, wrapped up an accolade-filled career with another First Team Defensive selection in 2025. The senior did it all once again, making 67 total tackles (41 solo, 26 assists), including 12.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks, while also recording 1 interception, 2 pass breakups and 2 forced fumbles in 2025. He finishes his Amherst career with his second Academic All-District selection to go with three All-NESCAC honors.

Jung, an Economics major, followed up his Second Team All-NESCAC accolade with his second Academic All-District selection. The senior earned it after pulling in up 54 receptions for 714 yards and seven scores, in addition to 1 rushing touchdown. He also made an impact on special teams, returning 8 kicks for 197 yards.

Fellow receiver Moore, an Asian Languages and Civilizations and Psychology double major, was the just as impactful: he recorded 44 catches for 428 yards and 1 touchdown on the year, including a 114-yard, 1-touchdown performance against Colby. The junior earned Second Team All-NESCAC honors earlier this year, in addition to his Academic All-District award.

Roberts, a Psychology and Statistics double major, was a key component piece of an offensive line that led the NESCAC in sacks allowed, giving up only 7 total in 9 games on the year. His Academic All-District selection follows his Second Team All-NESCAC honor, which he earned at the conclusion at the season.

Skotak, a Political Science major, put up 79 total tackles, including 37 solo and 8 tackles for loss, as well as 3 pass breakups and 2 fumble recoveries in 9 games. Impressively, he recorded 3 games of 10-plus tackles this season, on the way to wrapping up a Second Team all-conference honor. This is his first Academic All-District honor.

Walker, a Political Science, major, was a steady presence on the offensive line, starting and playing in every game on the Mammoths this season. He helped the Mammoths to 326.8 yards per game and almost 3000 total yards offensively on his way to his first Academic All-District honor.

The Mammoths finished the 2025 season with a 5-4 overall record, including a win against Williams at home to finish the year above .500 for the first time since 2021.
