Three Mammoths Earn Recognition from the WGCA

PALM DESERT, Calif. - Sophomore Joelle Kim (Los Altos, Calif.) and first-year Emma Lindemoen (Louisville, Ky.) were both named All-American Honorable Mention by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), it was announced last week before the NCAA Championships. Kim, Lindemoen, and sophomore Mekhala Costello (Canton, Mass.) also garnered All-Region nods from the WGCA last week.

Kim ends her sophomore year with adding an All-American Honorable Mention and All-Region nods. She earned her second All-NESCAC First Team selection earlier this year. Kim finished ranked within the top 30 nationally and had a strong showing at the NCAA Championships on the individual side.

Lindemoen wrapped up her rookie season with picking up All-American Honorable Mention and All-Region nods. She garnered Co-Rookie of the Year and her first All-NESCAC First Team selection while earning a national ranking within the top 30. Lindemoen finished tied for ninth place on the individual side of the NCAA Championship.

Costello closed out her sophomore year with her first All-Region from the WGCA. She finished the season with her second All-NESCAC First Team nod and earned her first individual title in the NESCAC Championships earlier this spring. Costello finished 19th on the individual side of the NCAA Championship.

The Mammoths finished their season at the NCAA Championships where they placed seventh after winning the NESCAC Championship for the third time, and their first NESCAC title since the 2022-23 season.
