Matthew Sheinberg (New Canaan, Conn.) were both selected to the Second Team All New England.
Lau earned his third straight NEILA All-Region selection in his final season in Amherst. Lau led the team in caused turnovers with 28 and was tied for second in ground balls with 39. He added to the scoring threat for the Mammoths with one goal and an assist in 14 appearances. This adds to his long list of accolades with three All-NESCAC selections, three All-Region picks, and multiple All-American selections from the USILA and USA Lacrosse to wrap up his collegiate career.
Sheinberg earned his second consecutive NEILA All-Region Selection with his ability to help on both ends of the field. He was fourth on the team in ground balls with 35 and tied for fifth in caused turnovers with 10. Sheinberg notched nine goals and eight assists in 16 appearances for the Mammoths. He has also earned All-NESCAC recognitions each of the last three seasons and a variety of All-American honors.
Amherst concluded their 2026 season with an 8-8 overall record, finishing 5-4 in conference earning the rights to host a NESCAC Quarterfinal game. The Mammoths also made a NCAA Second Round appearance.
