SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- The Amherst College women's golf team competed in the second round of the Jack Leaman Invitational at The Orchards Golf Club on Sunday, April 12th. The Amherst A and B teams began their shotgun round at 1:30 PM, and battled against windy conditions. The Mammoth's A team finished the tournament in 3rd place, totaling a +28 over par. The Mammoth's B team trailed right behind in 4th place at +45 over par. New York University finished in first place totaling +21 over par, and Williams College places second at +27 over par.
On the individual leaderboard, first-year
Grace Zhan finished in 1st place out of 66 players. Zhan finished the second day shooting 70, and finished the weekend with an overall score of -2.

Emma Lindemoen and sophomore
Joelle Kim both shot an impressive 75. Sophomore
Mekhala Costello finished shooting 77, and freshman
Renna Chang shot 79.
On the B team, junior Abby Kim and sophomore
Karolyn Zeng led the team both firing a 77. Following, sophomore
Annie Dai shot 78, sophomore
Jia An shot 79, and junior
Claire D'Ambrosio shot 91.
The Mammoths, #6 in the nation, are back in action next weekend at the Northeast Invitation in Southwick, MA, and hosted by Bowdoin College.
