CAMBRIDGE, MASS – Despite strong swims in the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM, and strong dives by the Amherst Women's swim and dive team, the MIT Engineers outscored the Mammoths, 202-92.
This was the Mammoths' final meet of the regular season. The team will look to continue their successes in the NESCAC Championships, February 12th-February 15th.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Ava Insteness and Maeve Kelley went 1-2 in the 200-yard freestyle, with Insteness swimming a time of 1:52.73 and Kelley posting a time of 1:55.49. Penny Lazar and Lucy Smith finished 3rd and 4th, respectively.

Senior Joline Fong continued to prove her strength in the 100-yard breaststroke, swimming a time of 1:09.11 and earning second place.

Kelley and Diane Koo finished second and third place in the 200-yard butterfly, with Kelley finishing in 2:08.61 and Koo swimming a 2:09.93.

Paige Arnold had strong swims in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard IM. Arnold earned second place in the 50 free and first in the 200 IM.

Donna Zhang had a strong meet in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. She earned 451.73 points in the 1-meter and 459.82 points in the 3-meter, placing second in both events.

The 200-yard A freestyle relay, comprised of Sydney Thompson, Smith, Kelley, and Insteness, placed second, with a time of 1:38.91.
