Dann, Stott Honored by Division III Hockey News

AMHERST, MA. – Juniors Gretchen Dann (Hanover, N.H.) and Natalie Stott (Franklin, Mass.) of the Amherst College women's ice hockey team were selected to the Division III Hockey News East First Team when it was announced today.
  
Stott earns her first selection after another stellar season this year. She ended the year with a .957 save percentage and .95 goals against average while giving up only 27 goals in 29 games and recording 13 shutouts. Throughout her career, Stott has racked up 1711 saves in almost 5000 career minutes and an impressive record of 66-14-3. Along with these awards, Stott was also a First Team All-America and First Team All-NESCAC selection and awarded NEWHA Div. III All-Star and 2024-25 MVP and 2024-25 NCAA All-Tournament team honors this season.
 
Dann has been a key contributor on both ends of the ice this season, putting the cherry on top of her best campaign with her Div. III Hockey News East First Team selection. Defensively, Dann notched 28 blocked shots and helped the Mammoths concede only 28 goals in 30 games. She also emerged as a scoring threat from the blue line, recording nine goals and 11 assists for 20 total points. This award is yet another on Dann's impressive list from this season, which includes All-America, NEHWA All-Star, NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year, and All-NESCAC First Team honors.
 
The Mammoths finished the season at 23-6-1 overall, winning their second NESCAC title in three seasons and making an appearance in the NCAA National Championship game, where they fell to University of Wisconsin River Falls 3-1.
