HADLEY, Mass. --- Amherst College junior forward Caroline Busler (Greenwich, Conn.) has been selected as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, September 6.

Busler played a role in both Mammoth goals in a season-opening conference win over Conn. College last week. Busler scored the first goal of the game, which proved to be the eventual game-winning goal, with 5:41 left in the second quarter. In the final minute, the junior intercepted a Camel clearing pass and pushed the ball to teammate Chloe Agopian (Pawling, N.Y.), who scored an insurance goal on an empty net.
