HADLEY, MA. – Sophomore Tina She (Stouffville, Ontario) was named NESCAC Player of the Year as five members of the Amherst College women's tennis team were given All-NESCAC honors when they were announced today.

She earned a First Team Singles selection, while senior Sophie Diop (Boston, Mass.) and sophomore Cody Huang (Plano, Texas) were named Second Team Singles. Huang and doubles partner Lily Dounchis (Naples, Fla.), as well as She and her partner, Karolina Dobiecka (Ashland, Ore.) were named Second Team Doubles.

She was named the NESCAC Player of the Year and a First Team Singles nod after a standout campaign in which she earned her way to a No. 5 singles ranking nationally. She holds a record of 21-4 (84 percent) in all matches during the 2025-26 season while consistently playing at the top of the Mammoths' singles ladder – the sophomore went 4-2 against players in the ITA top 20 this season. This is her first All-NESCAC award.

Diop earns her second All-NESCAC honor with another Second Team Singles award. The 2023 Rookie of the Year, Diop went 12-11 on the year and was a steady performer in Amherst's singles rotation. She enters the NCAA Tournament on a three-match win streak.

Huang gets her first All-NESCAC selection this season with a breakout sophomore season during which she played her way to a 17-8 overall record (68 percent). Currently ranked in the top 40 singles players in the country by the ITA, Huang did her best work down the stretch, going 6-2 in singles matches in April and May.

On the doubles side, She and Dobiecka, a doubles specialist for the Mammoths, combined to form a formidable duo that racked up a 18-8 (69 percent) record on the season. They have been a reliable duo throughout the NESCAC portion of the season, going 6-3 in NESCAC matches. This is Dobiecka's first All-NESCAC selection.

Huang and Dounchis went 7-2 (78 percent) in competing as a pair, including 7-1 against NESCAC teams. Dounchis earns her third All-NESCAC selection after earning Second Team nods in both singles and doubles in 2025.

The Mammoths finished the season 11-7 with a 7-3 record in NESCAC matches, and a NESCAC Semifinal appearance. They earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament and will host the first three rounds of play this weekend. They will open with Manhattanville College on Friday, May 8 at 4 p.m.
