GILBERT, Ariz. – Amherst College sophomore Tina She earned All-America honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for her singles play after a breakout season that saw her claim her place among the elites in the nation.

She, who ranked 26th in singles in the ITA's first Division III rankings of the season in November, finishes the year ranked fourth in the nation after a 24-5 campaign that culminated with a berth in the NCAA Division III singles championship tournament.

The Stouffville, Ontario, native was the top-ranked player from the NESCAC in the season's final rankings. She was previously tabbed by the ITA as this year's Player to Watch for the Northeast Region and was selected as the NESCAC Player of the Year. An economics and mathematics double major, She was also honored as an Academic All-American this season.

This is the third straight season in which a Mammoth earned All-America honors and She is the 30th and final student-athlete to earn All-America honors during the 35-year tenure of head coach Jackie Bagwell, who announced her retirement last month.

She helped the Mammoths to a 13-8 record in dual meets this season, reaching the semifinals of the NESCAC tournament and the round of 16 in the NCAA tournament.
