HADLEY, MA. Andreas Sillaste, George Chaidemenos, and Lukas Frangenberg of the No. 17 Amherst College men's tennis team were awarded All-NESCAC selections when they were announced earlier today. Sillaste and Chaidemenos earned First Team singles distinction, and both Sillaste and doubles partner Frangenberg were accorded First Team doubles honors. Frangenberg was also awarded Rookie of the Year.

Sillaste takes home All-NESCAC honors after recording a 22-8 singles record and a 14-11 doubles record this year. The junior's 2025-26 selections are his third straight to the All-NESCAC First Team, and Sillaste adds these to a growing list of accolades that also includes both the 2023-24 NESCAC and Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rookie of the Year awards. He also earned a selection to the NCAA Tournament Singles draw, making a Quarterfinal appearance.

Chaidemenos selection is the first of his career, and puts a bow on a great final collegiate season for the senior from Athens, Greece. Over the course of the year, he has racked up an impressive 15-6 singles record against top level division III competition.

Frangenberg took home the NESCAC Rookie of the Year award, along with First Team Doubles honors alongside his partner Sillaste. Frangenberg recorded an impressive 16-6 singles record and 15-10 doubles record which boosted him to a rank of 24th in the country. He is the six Mammoths to be named the men's tennis NESCAC Rookie of the Year.

After posting a 13-6 record through the NESCAC Tournament, the Mammoths will wait until NCAA singles play, with players hoping to earn their place in the draw. That tournament will begin over Memorial Day weekend.
