JEKYLL ISLAND, GA -- The Amherst College Men's Golf Team sits in T-19th place after the second round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at Pine Lakes.
The Mammoths began play in the afternoon and finished the day at 2 over par, now totaling 9 over par.Â
On the individual leaderboard, second-year
Jan Ebbinge led the Mammoths firing 70 and sits at T-49 in the overall field.Â
Following, senior
Paari Kaviyarasu shot 72 and sits at 68th in the field. Sophomore
Andre Zhang shot 73, first-year
Thomas Zhang shot 75, and senior
Mark Vitels shot 77. Notably, Kaviyarasu eagled hole 15.Â
The Mammoths, #41 in the nation, are back in action tomorrow in the morning for the third and final round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at Pine Lakes.
