HADLEY, MA – Senior forward Marie-Eve Marleau (Saint-Anicet, Quebec.) was named this week's NESCAC Player of the Week for women's ice hockey, the conference announced earlier today.

Marleau played a part in all four of the Mammoths' goals across two games against Hamilton this weekend. She scored the lone goal in their 1-0 overtime win on Friday, before putting in a one-goal, two-assist performance in Saturday's 3-0 victory. Her play helped Amherst wrap up a top 2 seed in the NESCAC tournament for the fourth straight season. This is Marleau's first, and the team's fourth, NESCAC Player of the Week honor this season.

Amherst is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation and stands at 16-2-6 at the conclusion of the 2025-26 regular season. They finished second in the NESCAC with a 9-1-6 record and will host seventh seeded Bowdoin in a Quarterfinal matchup on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Orr Rink to begin their postseason run.
