LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Amherst College volleyball team earned the AVCA Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association for excellence in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.

The AVCA announced the selection of 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams as recipients of the Team Academic Award for maintaining a yearlong grade point average of at least 3.3 out of 4.0.

The Mammoths posted a record of 11-10 last year and host WPI to open the 2025 season on Tuesday, September 2.
