ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The Amherst College women's golf team sit in ninth place after the second round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational at King and Prince Hampton Course, accumulating a total of 635.
First-year Mekhala Costello tied for second, shooting one under par on both tournament days.
Both Jia An and Annie Dai tied for 49th place. An shot 2 over par on the first day and 4 over on the second day. Dai posted 6 over on the first day and 2 over on the second day.
Amherst's Joelle Kim shot 2 over par on the first day and 9 over on the second day. Abigail Kim posted 11 over par, with scores of 6 over on the first day and 5 on the second.
The Mammoths are back in action tomorrow (Mar 23) for the third round of the Jekyll Collegiate Invitational at King and Prince Golf Club.
