AMHERST, Mass. - The Amherst men's swim and dive team took down Wesleyan University in a dominating performance on Sunday afternoon, winning 216-46.
Amherst returns to the pool on Friday, December 5 at 5 p.m. for a tri-meet against Connecticut College and Coast Guard hosted by Connecticut College.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

• First-year Owen Vale set the pool record for the 400 IM with a time of 3:59.19, which was 6 seconds faster than the record from 2014.
• The 200 Freestyle was dominated by the Mammoths as sophomore Jack Goepfrich claimed first, and seniors Henry LeCates and Ethan Van De Water claimed second and third respectively.
• Amherst dominated the 100 IM with first-years Vale and JP Giglio and sophomore Teddy Sun each scored for the Mammoths placing first, fourth, and third respectively.
• Amherst closed the meet out with all three 200 freestyle relay teams, placing within the top 3.
