AMHERST, Mass. -- Junior linebacker Ty Kazanowsky (Toms River, N.J.) of Amherst College earned a spot on D3Football.com's Team of the Week for his play during a 14-13 win over Williams last week. 

Kazanowsky had a game-turning interception, as he stepped in front of a two-point conversion pass by Williams, intercepted it at the goal line, and ran it all the way back 100 yards for a defensive two-point conversion in the third quarter of Amherst's rivalry game win. Instead of Williams leading 15-9, the Ephs were up just 13-11, setting up the opportunity for the Mammoths to win it with a field goal. He also had five tackles, half a tackle for loss, and a forced fumble in the win.

Kazanowsky was the first Amherst player to be named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week since the 2002 season.
