Catholic holds a 3-8-1 record all-time in the NCAA Tournament, coming off a 2-1 defeat against Ohio Wesleyan last season in the First Round.

SUNY-Delhi  upset top-seeded Thomas College in double overtime to capture their first NAC Championship since joining the conference for the 2019-20 season. The Broncos' win set a program record for an unbeaten streak with 14, a stretch that began after falling to Thomas all the way back on September 13th.

The host Red Dragons are making their 27th national tournament appearance all-time, and fifth straight tournament appearance under head coach Steve Axtell. Cortland earned an NCAA berth as one of 21 at-large teams in the field. Cortland played to a 1-1 tie against Messiah in the first round of last year's national tournament, with the Falcons advancing on penalty kicks, 4-3.
