WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Amherst College men's track and field team set a new school record in the 4x100m relay on Saturday at the Farley Inter-Regional Extravaganza at Williams College.

Jordan Harrison won the 4x100m relay in record time.
The Mammoths are back in action on Thursday at 4 p.m., competing at the MIT Final Qualifier with one last chance to post marks to qualify for the NCAA Championships. The top 22 marks in individual events and top 16 times in relay events earn invitations to the national championships.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS:
* Bell, Pierce, Nichols and Harrison won the 4x100m relay in 40.96 seconds with a time that ranks in the top 16 in Division III this season, breaking the Amherst school record of 41.37 set by the same quartet last season.

Michael Abbey Jr. won the triple jump with a season-best mark of 14.56m, which ranks among the top 20 in Division III this season.
* First-year
Parker Boyle ran a season-best time of 1:50.19 in the 800m to finish third with a mark that ranks among the top 20 in Division III this season.
* Junior
Alex Robin scored a personal-best 5278 points in the decathlon to place second, posting a personal-best time in the 110m hurdles (18.02 seconds) and leading the field in the pole vault (4.05m) and the javelin (41.77m).
* Sophomore
Charlie Spurrell notched a season-best throw in the hammer with a mark of 54.36m to place fourth.
