BOSTON – The Mammoths won New England titles in four events as the Amherst College men's track and field team finished third at the New England Division III Indoor Championships on Sunday at the Track at New Balance.

Two Amherst relay teams captured New England Championships, while first-year Parker Boyle won the 1000m and classmate Michael Abbey Jr. won the triple jump. The Mammoths tallied a total of 14 All-New England performances, awarded to the top eight finishers in each event.

The Mammoths earned a total of 83 points to place third in the field of 36 teams, the team's second consecutive top-three finish. MIT scored 154 points to win its fifth straight team championship.
