#7 Amherst remains unbeaten in NESCAC with 9-0 sweep over Trinity

HARTFORD, CT. – The #7 Amherst College women's team made it six wins on the bounce as they eased past the Trinity College Bantams with a score of 9-0 on Tuesday evening. The game took place at the Paul Asaiante Tennis Center.

Amherst's record improves to 9-1 (7-0 in NESCAC) for the season. Up next: the Mammoths will look to continue their perfect NESCAC record on Sunday versus the #4 Wesleyan University Cardinals. Amherst will travel to Middletown, CT to take on their Little 3 rivals.

  • All of the three doubles matches were 8-3 wins in Amherst's favor
  • Amherst didn't lose a set in any of their six singles matches
  • Junior Julia Lendel clinched the game with her win at the #5 singles spot
