BOSTON – The Mammoths 4x800m relay team won the New England Championship in record-breaking fashion as the Amherst College men's track and field team finished third at the New England Division III Indoor Championships after the final day of action on Saturday at the Track at New Balance.

The Mammoths tallied 64 points to edge Tufts by just half a point for third place out of the 35 teams at the meet. MIT won its fourth straight team championship with 159 points.
