Gihoe Seo recorded five birdies on the back nine in Sunday's final round to lead the Amherst College women's golf team to a second-place finish in the Vassar Invitational at the par-72 Casperkill Golf Club.
Seo led the Mammoths with a 5-over 77 on Sunday to finish second on the individual leaderboard with a two-day score of 151 (+7). As a team, the Mammoths finished second in the 10-team field with a team score of 619, one stroke behind victorious NYU.

Jessica Huang each shot a 79 on Sunday to finish the tournament tied for fourth at +10, while junior
Janelle Jin was tied for 12th at +16 after carding an 81 on Sunday and sophomore
Priya Bakshi tied for 30th at +23 after a round of 85 on Sunday.
Competing as an individual, senior captain
India Gaume also finished in a tie for 12th at +16 after a second-round score of 81.
The Mammoths, ranked ninth in the nation in the latest WGCA Division III Poll, are back in action this weekend, hosting the Jack Leaman Invitational on Saturday (April 23) and Sunday (April 24) at Crumpin-Fox Club in Bernardston, Massachusetts.
