AMHERST, Mass. - First-year Saahi Jetti (Des Moines, Iowa) was named to the D3Baseball.com's All-Region One Second Team, it was announced earlier today.

Jetti's first-year on the college scene was an impressive one, notching several accolades this season. He was named to the All-NESCAC First Team and Co-Rookie of the Year, and earned NESCAC Pitcher of the Week twice this season. Jetti also picked up NCBWA Pitcher of the Week and Rookie of the Week right after his first collegiate no-hitter against Colby in the NESCAC Quarterfinals with the Mammoths' season on the line. His no-hitter nine-inning performance was the first from an Amherst pitcher since the 2000 season.

The NESCAC Co-Rookie of the Year appeared in 11 games, starting in nine of them, and pitching the full game for five of them, and went 8-1 on the season. In the 71.2 innings pitched (second in the NESCAC), he struck out 67 batters (first in the NESCAC), held his opponents to a .199 batting average (first in the NESCAC) just to name a few.

The Mammoths closed out the 2026 season in the NESCAC Championship where they fell short to Tufts, after having made their way to the final game through the consolation bracket. Amherst finished 26-14 overall and 7-5 in the NESCAC.
