CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Amherst College women's track and field team delivered a series of standout performances at the Sean Collier Invitational, highlighted by a victory in the 1500m and strong showings across the sprints and hurdles.

Distance Dominance
The distance squad provided the highlight of the meet as
Audrey Seeger '28 captured 1st place in the Saturday 1500-meter run with a season-best time of 4:42.20. She was closely followed by teammate
Hannah Adhikari '28, who took 3rd place in 4:47.36. Other notable finishes in the event included
Taylor Gudebski '28 (10th, 5:00.36) and
Rowan Bixler '28 (19th, 5:08.18). In the 5000-meter run, Dani Perez-Cartaya '28 secured a 6th-place finish, clocking in at 19:10.69.

Sprints and Hurdles
In the 400-meter dash, Amherst placed two runners in the top six.
Piper Lentz '26 led the way with a 3rd-place finish in 58.22, while
Caroline Wu '26 followed in 6th with a time of 59.56. Both athletes also competed in the 200-meter dash, where Lentz finished 11th (27.03) and Wu took 13th (27.27).

Anastasia Ioppolo '26 continues to be a force in the 100-meter hurdles, earning a 4th-place finish with a time of 15.04. First-year
Lilly Petrie '29 also showed promise, finishing 12th in the same event at 16.21.

Sophomore Lilly Meadows represented the Mammoths in the hammer throw, earning a 4th-place finish with a throw of 48.34m setting a new personal and school record.
