WATERVILLE, ME — The #11 Amherst College men's tennis team bounced back from Saturday's 6–1 NESCAC loss to #7 Bowdoin with a gritty 5–2 victory over Colby on Sunday on Colby's home courts, securing its first conference win and moving to 2–2 overall (1–1 NESCAC).
After dropping the doubles point on courts 1 and 2, the Mammoths stormed through singles, claiming five of six courts, including two three-setters and three straight-set victories to overcome the early deficit. The Mammoths will now prepare for their spring break trip to South Carolina, where they will play three dual-matches.
