11 Mammoths Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Recognition

AMHERST, MA – 11 members of the Amherst women's track and field team were named to U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Indoor Track and Field All-Region honorees, it was announced by the organization this week.
 
The top eight individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top eight relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
 
Amherst's selections, and the event in which they earned recognition are:
 Flora Biro (So., Louisville, Ky.): distance medley relay
Alayah Campbell (Fy., Philadelphia, Pa.): long jump
Heloise Hughes (Jr., Geneva, Switzerland), 60 meters, 200 meters
Anastasia Ioppolo (Sr., Newfoundland, Pa.): 60 meter hurdles
Ellie Jolly (So., Newton, Mass.): 60 meters
Avery Keenan (Fy., Buffalo, N.Y.): pole vault
Piper Lentz (Sr., Sparks, Md.): 800 meters, mile, 4x400 meter relay, distance medley relay
Zoe Marcus (Jr., Fairport, N.Y.): 800 meters, 4x400 meter relay, distance medley relay
Josie McLaughlin (Fy., Spokane, Wash.): 4x400 meter relay
Lily Meadows (So., Astoria, Ore.): weight throw
Myeh Medina (Sr., New York, N.Y.): 60 meter hurdles, 400 meters, 4x400 meter relay, distance medley relay

The last meet of indoor season is the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championship Meet which runs today, March 13 through March 14. Only qualified athletes will compete.
