HADLEY, MA. -- Three members of the Amherst College men's hockey team were accorded All-NESCAC honors when they were announced today. First year
Roman Parisi (Sausalito, Calif.) was named the NESCAC Rookie of the Year and earned an All-NESCAC First Team nod. Junior
Joseph Toth (Richmond, British Columbia) and first year
Devon Osborne (Somerset West, South Africa) were honored with All-NESCAC Second Team selections.
Parisi put on a show in his first year on the way to his first all-conference honor. He spent the entirety of the season as the team's No. 1, consistently facing their opponents' top players day in and day out. He finished the season an impressive 12-7 overall while playing in all but one match. His Rookie of the Year award is the first in the program's history.
Toth built on a solid sophomore season with a breakout junior year. The Canadian went 13-6 on the year as the team's No. 3 on the way to earning his first All-NESCAC selection with a Second Team nod.
Osborne also burst onto the scene in his debut season, going 8-12 while mostly playing at the team's No. 2 spot. He played one match at the top rung on the ladder in the team's matchup with Wesleyan, and he proved he was up to the task, winning in a 3-0 sweep. This is his first all-NESCAC accolade.
Amherst finished the season with a 12-8 overall record, including a 7-2 mark in the NESCAC and a NESCAC Tournament Quarterfinal appearance. They concluded play at the 2026 CSA Nationals with a 4
th place finish in the Hoehn Cup Division, with their results slotting them at No. 13 in the final national rankings.
