MIDDLETOWN, CT — On Saturday, the #16 Amherst College men's squash team maintained their momentum from Wednesday's victory over Williams by sweeping #26 Wesleyan University Cardinals, 9–0, to secure the Little Three championship. Coming off their first win over rival #12 Williams since 1999, the Mammoths carried that momentum into Middletown and controlled play from start to finish, not dropping a single match.
The victory improves Amherst's overall record to 9–3 and 6–2 in NESCAC play, and formally clinches their first Little Three title since the 1998-99 season.
